broken camera.
June 27th, 2012
We all went out to Karaoke tonight and it was a lot of fun! Only… as my camera was circulating the karaoke bar and as everyone was taking wonderful pictures, when I retrieved my camera it seemed to be broken! The lens was stuck. I’m an expert at breaking/broken cameras. Often times if there is a lens error, you pop it back, easy, it’s fixed. Unfortunately, this one was dunzo… I’ve broken enough cameras to know when a camera is done. But on a brighter note, because of all my past mistakes, I’ve learned to always buy the WARRANTY with my cameras at Best Buy. Honestly, best warranty policies on cameras hands down. So as soon as I get back to New Jersey, I’m taking that bad boy straight to geek squad and it’ll be good as new in two weeks. No worries. The problem is I’m in Sydney for three more weeks.. then in California for another week and a half. With another month of traveling, there’s no way I can live without saving these memories on film…
So I’ve come up with two options:
1. Buy a really cheap digital camera that I will probably only last me 2 months and will cost about $30 to $40. The quality will be terrible but I’ll live with it for a month and a half.
2. Be a little fun, get a little old school and buy either multiple disposable cameras, or a film camera and develop photos.
At this moment I’m taking both into consideration. I’ll need to decide soon. And by soon I mean tomorrow. Leaving for my Port Stevens trip after work on Friday!!
